Your QR code

How to make a QR code for your app

  1. Paste your link — the App Store or Google Play listing, or your website.
  2. Choose colors and a style. Keep the foreground dark and the background light.
  3. Add your logo if you like; error correction is raised automatically.
  4. Download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print, and test-scan it with your phone.

Where to find your store links

  • App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/idYOUR_APP_ID — the numeric ID is in App Store Connect under App Information.
  • Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.your.package

Tips for QR codes that scan every time

  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inch), bigger if it will be scanned from a distance.
  • Leave a quiet zone — the empty border around the code is part of the design.
  • Shorter links make simpler codes that scan more easily.
  • Always test with both an iPhone and an Android phone before printing.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static QR codes: the link is stored inside the code itself, so it works forever and doesn't depend on our website. Many "free" QR sites use redirect links that stop working when a trial ends — these don't.
Can I use one QR code for both the App Store and Google Play?
A QR code can only hold one link. The usual approach is to point it at a page on your website that detects the visitor's device and redirects to the right store, or to a landing page with both store badges.
Will adding a logo break the QR code?
Not if the logo is small. When you add a logo the generator automatically switches to the highest error correction level (H), which lets up to about 30% of the code be covered. Always test-scan before printing.
PNG or SVG — which should I download?
Use SVG for print (posters, packaging, business cards) because it scales to any size without blurring. Use PNG for websites, social media and documents.
What colors can I use?
Use a dark foreground on a light background with strong contrast. Inverted codes (light on dark) and low-contrast colors may not scan on some phones.
